**Today’s Date** **Your organization’s name** And address here, Or use letterhead **Recipient name** **Street** **City, state, zip** Dear neighbor, Do you have old, outdated, stained and/or ill fitting, but otherwise perfectly good: Clothing – teens or adult-size t-shirts, dress shirts, jeans and slacks Tablecloths, curtains, sheets or pillowcases Fabric scraps and yard goods taking up space in your house? Are they things that are too good to throw away, but not worth anything to sell? We have the answer for you! Our group is planning a rags-to-bags fundraiser, and we are now in the phase of collecting materials to use for sewing our bags. The bags will be strong, durable grocery shopping bags, like the ones they sell for people to use over and over again. We’ll be cutting up the donations and making the bags, then selling them to the public for a fair price. If you can find some items to donate, we ask that you please launder them all one last time before dropping them off. Collection locations and times are as follows: **At the high school cafeteria from 1/15 until 1/22. Look for signs on a corner table.** We appreciate your support of our efforts, and thank you in advance for your generous donations! Thank you, **Group Representative** PS If you don’t have anything to donate but wish to help, you can always send a couple of dollars to us via PayPal at name@host.net
